Oracle Business analytics applications have been build by collecting requirements, extracting data, combining the data in Oracle data warehouse and then it provides to the users for query  and reporting tools  for analysis.

Extracting data from complex transactional schemas of ERP, CRM, HCM SCM and other enterprise applications, consolidating and integrating data from various systems and applications, and merging and validating data quality. The applications of the analytics have some prebuilt packaged reports and dashboards.

 Business analytics focuses on developing new insights and understanding of business performance based on data and statistical methods. Business analytics depend upon the large amount of data to analysis. It is useful to outcome of the customer interactions.  

Basically we can say that business analytics used for what was happened , how happen , where the problem, what the action need to take using the reporting tools by querying the large amount of data in OLAP.                                                           
                                                   
It is the combination of technologies, applications and process used by the organization for decision making system and organization planning based on the data. We can analysis the gain and loss insight of the organization business strategy.
