What is the Use of RPD in OBIEE 11g

By


A RPD is a file which contains all the information about the application purposes.

It contains all the metadata of BI server.

Stores the information like,

1. Security information.

2. Variables and initialization.

3. Data modeling

4. Aggregate navigation.

5. Caching

6. Connective information of connection pool.

7. Dimensional Hierarchies

8. Measure columns and functions.

9. Joins, keys
