How to use Oracle BI Scheduler Server in OBIEE

•  The Oracle BI Scheduler manages and schedules Jobs within the OBIEE environment.

A Job is a task performed by the Oracle BI Server. The Scheduler supports two types of Jobs:

1.  Scripted jobs that you set up and submit using the Job Manager feature of the OBIEE Administration Tool.

2.  Unscripted Jobs, called iBots, that you set up and submit using OBIEE Delivers.

•  The Oracle BI Scheduler Server manages and executes jobs requesting data based on some schedule that is configured by a developer. Generally, the scheduler is used to push out to different users at specified times.
