How to use Architecture options in OBIEE

The OBIEE solution comes in one of two ways:

1. The Standalone Application Architecture:

· Does not require any Oracle eBusiness Applications (previously Siebel eBusiness Applications)

· Does not have any pre-built dashboards/ reports, pre-built metadata or pre-built ETL mappings

2. The Integrated Application Architecture:

· Supports Oracle eBusiness Applications (previously Siebel eBusiness Applications) through the use of pre-built dashboards/reports, pre-built metadata and pre-built ETL mappings

· OBIEE Analytics can support other Third Party applications such as SAP and Peoplesoft through their offering of pre-built ETL and metadata that support sourcing data these other transactional applications.
