Creating a new Report with Hidden Parameter in BI Publisher

Creating a new Parameter

Ø Click on Parameter and click ‘New’ to create a new parameter.

Ø Give the name for the parameter.

Ø Edit the query to give the bind variable, i.e. the name of the parameter.

Ø Select the data type according to the parameter.

Ø Select the parameter type.

Ø Now enter the hidden parameter value in the default value box.

Ø Save the work done.

Viewing the Output

Ø By clicking ‘View’ the output is generated for the hidden parameter value.
