How to configuring port 80 in OBIEE 12C

To change the port for bi_server1 from 9704 to default port 80

Log on to Weblogic Console http://servername:7001/console

Click Lock & Edit then Navigate to Environment > Servers> bi_server1> General

Then change the Listening Port to 80 and save the changes click Activate Changes

Now, tick the two items Enable Post-Bind UID and Enable Post-Bind GID.

To determine your userid and group, login with your normal OBI user, and type id

[obiee@flaobirpa01 bin]$ id

uid=10305100(obiee) gid=501(obiee) groups=501(obiee)

Enter these values in Post-Bind UID and Post-Bind GID

Click Lock & Edit and Navigate to Environment > Machine> General

Enter these values in Post-Bind UID and Post-Bind GID

Click on Save.

Activate the changes
